30 Members of Congress (and growing) Ready To Take Obama to Court for Not Faithfully Executing Laws

White_House_in_winter_snowTom Rice, A Congressman of South Carolina, has put into motion a resolution in the House of Representatives that would direct the Legislative body to take President Obama to court for not faithfully executing the laws he is sworn to uphold. Rice states, ” Obama has adopted a practice of picking and choosing which laws he wants to enforce…his laws of choice conveniently coincide with his Administration’s political agenda”. Furthermore, “This resolution allows the House to bring legal action against the Executive branch and challenge recent actions, inactions, and policies”.

If the Mount Vernon Assembly last week (which decided the rules for a State-led convention) hasn’t got Mr. Hope & Change worried, this action, will surely put him in an outright panic.

There are 4 policies and actions that the House resolution will be calling for under Civil Action in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia proclaiming a declaratory or injunctive relief challenging any of the 4 policies and actions. I will list these 4 policies and actions in plain english without the legal jargon, but I want you to recognize the pattern within all 4 of these that was mentioned  a week ago at the House Judicial Committee Hearing on the Presidents abuse of power, the theme of the circumvention of Congress.

If you’d like to read the full Resolution just Click Here.

First we have the President’s year-long delay in the application of minimum coverage requirements for insurers to prevent them from canceling plans without congressional approval. Secondly, the President did this same exact thing with the Administrations year-long delay of the employee mandate without Congressional approval. Thirdly, the Administration  gave states the option of waiving the work requirement for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) without Congressional approval. Finally, the President demanded the Department of Homeland Security to both circumvent the Constitution and Congress via the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program breaching the law and eliminating our countries ability to protect its boarders.

See the Pattern? Every-single one of these 4 violations should not only be upheld but they should also, in effect, lead to the drafting of the Articles of Impeachment.

I believe that the time is ripe for the fruits of injustice to be harvested against an embattled and corruption plagued Administration. Not only does the resolution have good standing within the Court, it carries with it the breach of law those within this Administration have committed and hold’s them accountable for what they have done. The irony of this is that during the 2008 Presidential Campaign Barack Obama chanted to audiences, “Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself” and in doing so, I will have the President know, we are judging you by the people with whom you surround yourself and the outlook looks terrible.

Just look at Attorney General Eric Holder, who has impeachment articles filed against him and Health and Human Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who has obstructed a Congressional investigation.

When everyone you have surrounded yourself with has broken the law and deliberately mislead the American public by dismantling the Constitution what we have left with is a judgment by the American people against you Mr. President, at the end of the day, it is you.
