The criminalizing dissent and selective enforcement of the law by federal authorities was brought to light today over the accusations against Dinesh D’Souza for donating 20,000 dollars to a candidate running for Senate back in 2012. The real motive here is to send a chilling reminder to those conservatives such as Dinesh, whose documentary 2016: Obama’s America, took a critical look at Barack Obama and exposed the power of the government in how it is purely selective in who it chooses to target. One day it’s Dinesh and next it’s Friends of Abe, a small group of conservative Hollywood entertainers who are currently under investigation by the IRS. Followed by a recent New York State Department’s subpoena against James O’Keefe, whose Project Veritas has worked to expose documentaries on government corruption. O’Keefe also helped to dismantle Obama’s community organizing ACORN group for its politically motivated criminal actions. Lastly, we have the deliberate and punishing 5 billion dollar lawsuit brought by the Treasury Department against Standard & Poor, a top credit-rating agency. The lawsuit is for the S&P’s downgrading the U.S. debt to AA+ from AAA.
All four of these recent “investigations” share one malicious and coordinated theme: The criminalizing of dissent through the selective enforcement of the law against any person, organization, or business that doesn’t align with this administrations agenda.
As this story just broke last night, the full details of the investigation are still breaking with D’Souza’s arrest today in New York. The Hollywood Reporter broke the story as, “Federal authorities accused D’Souza of donating more than is legal to the campaign of Wendy-long, who ran in 2012 for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Hillary Clinton…event hough Long is not even mentioned in the indictment against D’Souza”. You can read the full indictment by clicking Here. D’Souza’s lawyer stated that, “the indictment does not allege a corrupt relationship between Mr. D’Souza and the candidate”. Basically, there was no intent nor reasonable suspicion to warrant an indictment, given the fact that what D’Souza did is nothing in comparison to how politics truly work.
Take for instance the kickbacks routinely given to individuals who helped fund the millions of dollars in campaigning for Obama in both of his elections. For example, just yesterday another Obama backed funder by the name of George Tsunis was nominated to become the next ambassador to Norway even though this individual literally made an idiot of himself and our Country during his confirmation hearing.
The real intention behind the reason of D’Souza’s arrest is outright criminal in that this arrest is an attempt to set the precedent against those who dissent with Obama’s agenda. D’Souza’s documentary exposed Barack Obama for who he really is and it comes as no surprise that D’Souza would be targeted just months before the release of his upcoming film, America, that is sure to rattle the Obama core.
Next came the news of another attack on another conservative film maker. A subpoena was issued against James O’Keefe and Project Veritas commanding them to appear before the New York State Department of Labor. O’Keefe and Project Veritas has worked to expose documentaries on government corruption, most famous of which came in their documentary that blew the lid off of the group ACORN. The Chicago community organizing group was dismantled due to O’Keefe’s work as he exposed the group for their politically motivated criminal actions.
As cited by the subpoena itself, which you can read Here, “the group must appear in court with copies of social security returns, unemployment insurance, check stubs, and other records pertaining to payments of service”. Furthermore, the IRS previously audited Project Veritas back in 2011 and the group was 100% compliant. This comes with the knowledge that when O’Keefe and others showed up for their court date two years ago in compliance with the IRS, the IRS itself never even showed.
Friends of Abe
As I said before, one day it’s D’Souza, then it’s O’Keefe, and now the IRS is going after the few conservatives that exist in Hollywood under the name of Friends of Abe. Friends of Abe, which consists of roughly 1,500 conservative minded individuals in Hollywood, has been and is currently under investigation by the IRS. The group, according to The New York Times, “was founded approximately nine years ago and fiercely protects its membership list to avoid having its members blackballed in the notoriously left-leaning industry”. Just as grassroots Tea Partiers and conservatives were targeted by the IRS, they do the exact same thing to these Hollywood entertainers
As the group is filed under the notoriously known 501 (c) (3) status, the IRS under Obama’s agenda feels that the law can be invoked to justify their intrusion. They have attempted a request for “enhanced access” to Friends of Abe’s website, which would have given the Federal Agency access to the groups list, but was rightly denied by the group for its intrusion.
Standard and Poor
Lastly, we have the deliberate five billion dollar lawsuit brought by the Treasury Department against Standard and Poor. S&P is one of the 3 top credit-rating agencies in the United States who issues grades on the U.S debt. The issue in this case happened in August of 2011 when the S&P, for the first time in American history, downgraded the U.S. debt to the AA+ rating before Obama had given any notice of announcement of his re-election bid for 2012. Therefore, to retaliate against this, the Obama adminstration has sued S&P for five billion dollars on claims unspecified, but by now you should be able to recognize Obama’s motive.
It amounts to a targeting of political enemies ranging from Tea Party groups to individual film makers and credit-rating companies to the Hollywood elite. If you dare dissent from Obama’s agenda then be ready to have the selective enforcement of the law criminalize you no matter who or what your role to society is. These were four examples from the past week, with three breaking within the past two days and it seems the abuse of power via the corrupt IRS is becoming more akin to an ominous parallel towards an all to similar Stalinist and Marxist way of control.
