Barack Obama The Progressive

Barack Obama embodies a pure opportunist devoid of loyalty to men, ideas and our country. He is more than willing to break oaths and say or do anything to achieve and hold power. His adminstration is totally without ideals, committed entirely to action based on cold political calculation. For Obama there remains no aim he would not take up or drop at a moments notice, his only criterion being the strengthening of his adminstration.

The entire Obama legacy can be better understood as a maelstrom of prejudices, passions, hatreds, emotions, resentments, biases, hopes, and attitudes that, when combined, most often resembled a religious crusade wearing the mask of a political ideology.

Replace the name Barack Obama with Adolf Hitler and you’ll find that Hermann Rauschning‘s description of Hitler resembles that of our current President with regards to their desire of power.

For Barack Obama “the issue is never issue”, writes David Horowitz, “the issue is always power – how to wring power out of the democratic process, how to turn the political process into an instrument of control, how to use that control to fundamentally transform the United States of America, which is exactly what Barack Obama has done”.

He has done this with deceit as he constantly says one thing then does the other. “Claiming to have the best of intentions, rather than a desire for power”, states Quin Hillyer, Obama acts as if he is “either oblivious or indifferent to the dangers to which he is subjecting Americans.

Devoid of loyalty to our country, Obama has consistently lied to the American people in order to further his agenda by making promises such as; “if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan” regarding Obamacare, to having the “most transparent adminstration in history” as well as their being “not even a smidgen of corruption” regarding the I.R.S. All were lies and the list is virtually endless.

Knowing that the majority of Americans would attribute these lies as faults to ineptness, Obama carefully calculated these “promises” in order to persuade and coerce the Country into believing he wasn’t acting under the pretenses of a ulterior motive. But in fact, thats exactly what he is doing based upon his ideology.

Obama’s ideology is best defined by Walter Lippmann as he wrote “In holding that government with its instruments of coercion, must by commanding the people how they shall live, direct the course of society and fix the shape of things to come…the mark of a progressive relies upon [their belief] in an increased power of officials to improve the condition of men”.

Power is what compels Obama while progressivism emboldens him to believe that our society can be transformed by intensifying authority and enlarging its scope. In the name of progress, men whom once called themselves communists, socialists, fascists and nationalists now label themselves as progressives. They support Obama and the advancement of what Alexis de Tocqueville labeled “an immense tutelary power“.

This power “takes sole charge of assuring their enjoyment and of watching over their fate, it works willingly for their happiness, it provides for their security, foresees and supplies their needs, guides them in their principal affairs, directs their industry, regulates their testaments and divides their inheritances”.

Obama has sought to destroy our country by creating the kind of dependency Tocqueville warned of and Hitler implemented. So while todays progressives champion Obama and the all-powerful government, it is entirely relevant to ask, as Tocqueville once did, whether it can “relieve them entirely of the trouble of thinking and of the effort associated with living”.

For such is evidently its aim.
